Proposal requesting support of the Central Government for military action by Gov. Gaxiola of Sonora to bring Alta California under the jurisdiction of Sonora, with a view to averting internal disorders and foreign encroachment, husbanding national resources, facilitating communication between Alta California and the central authorities, and preventing development of a situation similar to that existing in Texas.
